F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions:
Okay Ladies Is this your first time hiring a male stripper for a friend or sister's bachelorette party? Wondering whether you should go to one of the local male revues (male strip clubs)? Or how about having the entertainment come to you? Where to begin? Ok, take a deep breathe, this is supposed to be fun, remember???
Ok, here are some helpful tips from the pros:
Having a party at a Hotel Room?
Many bachelorette parties and girls night out parties want to have their party in a hotel room. This is a very popular idea, however their are some major obstacles involved! How about noise from the party creating a disturbance in the hotel? What is an ideal time to do a hotel party? What room should you book? Is there enough room for the dancer to perform? How about parking for the dancer on arrival? Watch this video to answer those and many more questions in booking a hotel party and preparing for it to run smooth.
About the Bachelorette or guest of honor?
Keep the bride-to-be in mind at all times. What does SHE like? Is she crazy and wild ... Or ... Shy and mild? When you call to book male strippers be sure to mention how your bachelorette girl will respond. Will she go wild and crazy, or would a more laid back, mellow performance be best? Also inform your entertainer upon arrival of the type of show you are looking for....something kinda mild or maybe over the top.
Guests that will be attending your event?
Notify everyone involved in the bachelorette party asap of your intentions. Let them know you plan to hire a male stripper. Find out how everyone feels about this. Some girls will be like, "Bring it on!!!" While others may prefer to "sit that part out."
Date of the event?
Pick a date as early as possible. This way you can have enough time for planning.
As soon as you have your date set, book your dancer. The earlier the better. Male strippers that are in high demand are going to get booked early and often. It's very common for male strippers to travel all over doing 3, 4, or even 5 parties or more in a single night. So BOOK EARLY! At time of booking, the company will take a credit card to book the show over the phone, and the remainder of the show fee will be paid in cash to the entertainer on his or her arrival. Please note, all credit card charges are non refundable, non-negotiable and the only instance that a credit card would be refunded is, if an entertainer did not show up because of an emergency situation.
Time of the event?
Have a rough time frame of your schedule for that night ... But be flexible. Did you know that nearly 80% of all bachelorette parties request male strippers on a Saturday night between 9:00 and 10:00. Needless to say that if hundreds of bachelorette parties are taking place at the same time you might need to be slightly flexible about what time your male stripper arrives. Instead of saying, "We'd like a male stripper to arrive at 9:30," instead say, "We'd like a male stripper sometime between 9:00 and 10:00. Just no later than 10:30 to start ok? We have plans for afterwards." A customer-service oriented entertainment agency will work with you to make sure your night is a success. Just give a little to get a little.
Choice of dancers for your event?
Have a "look" you are after and trust the agency to find the right guy. All too often girls will look at male strippers on a website and say, "That's him. That's the guy we want." But what if he's booked? The truth is that if he's booked, NO agency will be able to get him for you. If he's booked ... He's booked.
At the time of booking the event over the phone or online, we ask that you pick out your top four choices. We will try to get you one of the four entertainers chosen. In the event those choices are not available, we would use them as a guide, showing us what taste of male or female dancer you are looking for. Any company who says they can 100% guarantee a dancer, nine times out of ten can not make this promise and is only using this tactic to just close the sale quick over the phone. So if you can appreciate our honesty in how this industry works, we surely would appreciate your business.
Your better off saying, "We like a white guy with short hair and a nice build" or "A latin guy..." or "A bad boy". Also, here's a TIP: Often times great dancers do NOT have their pics on websites. They often work in Corporate America and cannot risk having their boss or clients discover their "weekend gig." So don't be alarmed if you get a dancer who's not on the website. We're sure you'll love him all the same.
Choice of costumes for your event?
Have a theme in mind, or leave it up to the dancer's choice ... It's up to you.
For example, these are some popular choices:
Police Officer-Fireman-Doctor-Cowboy-Construction Worker-Pizza Guy-Military.
We ask that you give us three choices at the time of booking and the dancer will wear one of your three choices. The reason behind this is many dancers do mulitiple parties on the same evening, and many times the dancer will wear the most convenient costume based on the requests from his other parties to minimize time for changing costumes between other parties and this will help him keep more on a timely schedule on a very busy night.
Preparation and tipping during the event?
On the night of the bachelorette party have some drinks, loosen up, and get ready. You'll want to have a large empty space of floor room for the male stripper to perform in. Also, get a chair in the center of the room to sit the bachelorette. We call this the 'HOT SEAT."
Plenty of dollars ... The more the better. You can place these anywhere ... In his g-string or in her bra (where he'll fish them out with his teeth.) Again, the more dollars the better. Our guideline for tipping a male dancer, is for everyone attending to bring about $10-$20 in single dollar bills or the equivilent which will ensure the dancer to keep performing and the energy of the party to obtain a constant and high energy and excitement leve. Our dancers bring change with them, incase you didn't get a chance to run to the bank. Remember the dancer's motto............THE BIGGER THE BILL, THE BIGGER THE THRILL!!
Policy on taking pictures or taking video during events?
Have your cameras or cell phones ready to capture memorable snapshots. Your bachelorette will be in many "compromising" and "embarrassing" positions and you'll want to remember these fun times forever. So take lots of photos.
Please be aware some entertainers do not allow photos and some might charge additional for taking photos or videotaping during the event.
Most female strippers do not allow any photos or videotaping of any kind.
And remember...have fun!!!!
